| Description |
This new, one-day session will focus on the importance of incorporating interactive writing, interactive read-alouds, and literature discussion as essential components of an effective literacy program for students in kindergarten through second grade. Explicit teaching strategies and procedures for these components will be shared. Participants will also explore specific behaviors and understandings to notice, teach, and support each of these components. This session carries .6 CEUs for teachers or 5 SEMI credits for career level administrators. |
