Our web site is a designed to help us manage the growing demand for our professional development workshops. We want to encourage you to register for workshops online via our web site.
If you encounter any difficulty using or navigating our web site, please take a moment to review our web site and registration instructions below.
Please Note! Our web site does not support Netscape Navigator below version 4.71. For best results navigating our web site, please use Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher.
To view the details and descriptive information about a particular workshop, simply click on the title of that workshop. You may also click on any of the dates and locations listed under
a workshop to view the details of that particular event. If you have any questions regarding a particular event that our web site does not answer for you, please note the event ID number for the
scheduled event you are inquiring about.
To register online, simply click on the site or date of the workshop you are interested in attending, indicating the scheduled dates, locations, status, and seats remaining for that particular workshop.
Next, choose the option to REGISTER ONLINE, then select the district and school you represent. If you work at the district level and not directly affiliated with any particular school within your district
simply choose that (No School Affiliation) option at the bottom of the school list shown for your district.
Note * Not all workshops are free and some require a fee to attend. If this is the case it will be indicated on that workshop. You will need a purchase order or check number if you are registering through your district or school for any of our fee based workshops. Please mail original P.O. or check payment to our office at the mailing address listed on this page.
Simply put the check number or purchase order number you will be using to pay for the fee based workshop you wish to attend in the designated space.
(Don't forget to mail your check or P.O. number) Payments or P.O. numbers must be received no later than 48 hours prior to the first scheduled day of any workshop. If you need to wait until the day of the event to pay for the registration fee, please call us to hold your slot.
If you are not with any district or school, that option is also available at the top of the district choices when you first begin to register for any workshop. IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS AT ALL WITH ONLINE REGISTRATION, PLEASE CALL JIM CARLOW AT 228-861-3904.
WORKSHOP STATUS DEFINITIONS
Workshops listed on this web site will have a status column that reflects
the status of the workshops that were scheduled prior to Hurricane Katrina. The descriptive term under the status section will
inform the registrant of the status of that particular workshop after November 1 2005.
OK - means the workshop is exactly as listed prior to Hurricane Katrina (no changes).
NEW - means the workshop was added recently as a new event since Hurricane Katrina.
Expired - means the workshop has already taken place.
Canceled- means the workshop will not be held during Fall 2006, but will probably be rescheduled during Spring 2006.
A separate listing will be distributed later for these workshops.
Rescheduled- means that this workshop has new dates, but is at the same site as listed prior to Katrina.
Relocated- means that this workshop is at a different site with new dates from the listing prior to Katrina.
